College mate for 4 years

He was in IT class ... and the first thing i remember about him is the tall guy who was scared to talk to girls ... if he happened to be walking on a road and sees a girl he takes such a wide detour that it was extremely amusing ... later on I got to know him through Sanni as he was her classmate. He is really tall, must be 6 foot 2 or something or maybe more ... He was also interested in basketball and that kinda was a reason he ended up being my friend. He was the captain of the men's basketball team in final year. He was a good team leader and play maker and just because of him our house basketball team had won, in spite of being pitted against a team which seemed much stronger due to the abundance of the college team players ... talk about effective team efforts ... I seriously have to say he is really good with caring about people ... and he is actually a nice guy with a few escape tendencies, as in he hates to get hurt and does some foolish stuff like trying to push away friends so that he would miss them less when they leave him after college kind of crap ... what to do ... some people get strange ideas ... i never saw the point in that, but well each to once own logic. Anyway he is a nice friend to have, loyal, dependable, and helpful .... and one would certainly enjoy his company!!! I am happy to have known him.
